I've already posted this question to some newsgroups for a friend, but I
figured there might be some experienced iMovie makers gurus here (seems
so many smart and creative folks on this list...) He and I collaborated
on an original DVD production - he's in Columbus OH with the Mac and
authored the movie on his Powerbook. and I'm PC music guy here in NY and
can't be much help with this problem. We are trying to make our homebrew
music video/animation playable in Europe.
I'll be happy to send anybody that can help us a free copy of the DVD.
Here is his question.
(Thanks in advance...)
I have a made an iMovie in NTSC format and cut a DVD of it playable for
region 1 (US). I would like to convert the movie to PAL in iMovie and
cut it to a region 2 DVD in iDVD for play in the EU. How do I do this?
Are there step by step instructions anywhere? When I first put a DVD
in the computer, with iDVD open, a dialogue box opened and asked what
region I wanted to write it for. I opted for region 1 and was informed
I could only change it 6 more times. How do I get this dialogue again
to change it? Do I need a special DVD type to write in region 2? It
seems the entire system is purposely obscure about what I wish to do.
Is there anyone out there who knows what to do?
Thanks everybody, and sorry for the seriously OT
